The company's standard of quality goes beyond that set forth in EN ISO 9001:2015. The latter understands quality as the overlap between the customer's explicit and implicit requirements (target) and the delivered characteristics (actual). However, simply focusing the company on the customer's demands may not be in line with our concept of quality. In the company's understanding of quality, only an overlap between the three targets of meeting customer requirements, maintaining the company focus, and ensuring the company's capabilities represents true quality for our enterprise. Customer requirements include, for example, stipulations for specific functions or characteristics that (the customer believes) a product should fulfil. The company's focus reflects our goals and strategic alignment. The company’s focus defines how a company wants to serve the market and thereby its customers. In determining this focus, the company considers both societal values and the values it chooses for itself. The company's capabilities are understood as the company's capacity to achieve the goals it has set and implement customer requirements.
